TMTM is a yellow powder that is non-toxic and tasteless. This product is a super-accelerator that does not change color and is not polluted. It is mainly used for natural rubber and synthetic rubber.
TMTD is white or off-white, with a special odor, crystalline powder. TMTD has the following uses:
(1) Used as a super accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex.
(2) used in the manufacture of rubber products such as cables, wires, tires, etc.
(3) as an after-effect accelerator for natural rubber, butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber and isoprene.
(4) It is used for the control of various crop diseases and insect pests such as rice, wheat, tobacco, sugar beet and grape. It can be used for seed dressing and soil treatment.
TMTM activity is about 10% lower than TMTD, and the vulcanizate has a slightly lower tensile strength. TMTM has a critical temperature of 121℃, and its aftereffect is larger than that of thiuram disulfide and dithiocarbamate accelerators, and it has excellent scorch resistance.
