Anionic Polyacrylamide Flocculant

Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is a water-soluble macromolecule polymer. It is mainly used for flocculation and sedimentation of various industrial wastewater, such as iron and steel plant wastewater, electroplating plant wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, coal washing wastewater and sludge dewatering. It can also used for clarification and purification of drinking water. Because the molecular chain contains a certain number of polar groups, it can bridge particles by adsorbing suspended solid particles in water, or coagulate particles to form large flocculants by neutralizing charges. Therefore, it can accelerate the settling of particles in suspension, accelerate the clarification of solution and promote filtration.
